Hi8us gives young people across the UK the opportunity to gain experience of innovative media production, and a chance to tell their stories. Our award-winning projects working with excluded young people have been turned into television programmes, short films, websites and DVDs. Many of our best pieces have been shown by Channel 4, Carlton Television and at cinemas across the UK.

First Light  

At First Light, we fund and inspire the making of short films by young people in the UK, reflecting the diversity of their lives. We have enabled over 9,000 young people between the ages of five and 18 to write, act, shoot and produce over 600 films.
