Cornwall Film Festival kicked off its proposed 4 minute documentary screening with a weekend training course giving a DIY Guide to Documentary Film Making. The training course was run in conjunction with Cornwall Film, Denham Productions and Cornwall Film Festival and was led by Maud Hand from Channel 4s IDEASFACTORY
Over the two days course delegates were taken through the process of developing documentary ideas, story boarding, identifying contributors, preparing interviews and researching ideas, planning schedules for shooting, filming, editing and uploading the finished project to the 4docs website.
The course was a huge success with delegate brimming with ideas and methodology of how to bring their documentaries to the big screen. We are looking forward to seeing the finished results in November.
