Truro based film maker and festival regular Brett Harvey was announced as the winner of the 2006 Govynn Kernewek Award. This unique award providing funding for a film to be made using the Cornish language has become a favourite feature of the festival.<br style="font-family: arial;" /><br style="font-family: arial;" />Bretts winning film idea, which this year had to have the title An Jowl Yn Agas Kegin (The Devil in your Kitchen), is the contemporary tale of a celebrity chief who on a busy night in his restaurant has an unexpected encounter with satin. Only his wife and her passion for a certain day time TV superstar can stands in the way of the prince of darknesses plans to claim the chefs soul. <br style="font-family: arial;" /><br style="font-family: arial;" />Brett’s film will be premiered at next years festival.
